Tinikling

Considered to be the national folkdance of the Philippines, the Tinikling is like Filipino Double-Dutch. Dancers hop between 2 bamboo sticks as another couple rhythmically claps them together. Legend has it that the dance represents traps put out by rice farmers to capture the pesty Tinikling birds.
